There's Still Hope - Original

An original piece painted in acrylic on a 36" x 40" canvas, signed on the backside of the canvas.

I was going through a rough time when I made this, putting every tear I cried into every detail. The girl (not a self-portrait) felt like a reflection of myself and how I felt, and the butterflies symbolized the hope I still felt despite everything around me that was weighing me down. Those butterflies were the hope that kept me going, each one resembling something dear to me in life.
